Sérgio has extensive experience in Europe where he managed multiple advertising agencies across Portugal. Sérgio has over twenty years working in West Africa, a majority of which he spent running his own communication agency, Artelier Design, in Guinea-Bissau and Senegal. As CEO of Artelier, Sergio has developed brands and products for various NGOs and multinational companies; his clients include MTN (South African Telecommunications Company, UNDP United Nations, UNICEF, the European Union, and Ecobank, among others.

Also, he developed architectural 3D rendering modelling services, including 3D Architecture Exterior & Interior Design, 3D Movies, 3D Interior Deco, advertising campaigns and marketing tools specialised in architecture areas. Sérgio completed his studies in Professional Photography in 1994 at the Portuguese Photography Institute (IPF) in Lisbon, following which he studies and worked in graphic design and production.

He is currently based in Dakar.
